HOW IT WORKS
Once you are scheduled to close on your purchase with Ancona Title, you'll be able to sign up for a home energy audit with the Minnesota Home Energy Squad. Ancona will cover the fee. The Home Energy Squad will visit your new home and perform applicable installations at no extra cost. Here are some of the benefits:
- LED lightbulb replacements
- Programmable thermostat
- Insulation inspection
- Water heater and pipe insulation
- Air leak detection
HOW TO SCHEDULE
Tell your closer or agent that you'd like to take advantage of Ancona's Clean Energy Closings program, and we will get a visit request submitted for you. The Home Energy Squad will reach out to coordinate a visit time.
Information you'll need to provide to Ancona:
- Natural Gas utility provider (must be Xcel or Centerpoint)
- Electric Utility provider (must be Xcel or Dakota Electric)
- Email Address
- Phone Number
Note: To take advantage of the Clean Energy Closings program, Xcel Energy or Centerpoint must be one of the gas utility providers for the property. Service area is limited to where crews are available.
